Tell me a little bit about yourself?
I'm an online influencer/blogger and model who loves to travel. And I am also currently studying a double diploma in tourism and business because I love travel so much and want to stay within a field that allows me to continuously do so.
How do you start your morning?
I wake up. Stretch a little (yoga), make a light breakfast and then usually hit the gym.
Who inspires you?
People inspire me. Other people's stories. Their strengths, their challenges, their idiosyncrasies and most of all their passions.
What feeds your soul and makes you happy on a daily basis?
Being kind and patient to others, even when they don't deserve it. And gratitude. My spiritually is ever- evolving, growing. I learn from each experience on this journey of mine. Just having that awareness makes me see life in such a different light and I find it easier to remain happy.
How do you take time out for yourself?
Yoga, meditation actually any exercise is my me time.
Take us through a day in your life?
After I have hit the gym as previously mentioned I then come home shower, do some emails and editing for a couple of hours. I eat again. Then I study for a couple of hours. Eat once more then usually train again. Whether it be Pilates or cardio. I try to give certain muscles a break whilst I work the others so I'm not over doing it. Then I shower again and eat some more. Haha. My nights are usually study again or work in a nightclub called Elsewhere where I am the door host.
How do you live a healthy lifestyle?
I maintain a healthy diet, I don't cut everything otherwise it wouldn't be fun and I would hate eating. I exercise everyday and ensure I look after myself. I know my limits and if I'm too tired or sick to train then I have a break etc.
You have to rest. And you have to treat yourself.
I don't drink or smoke. It does help that I'm allergic to alcohol but I hate the taste anyway and don't like feeling hungover when I wake. Would rather enjoy the day. I also don't drink coffee and make conscious choices with what I do with or put in my body.
What is your favourite way to exercise?
I actually really love Pilates. It's my favourite of all the stuff I do. I literally do so many things from yoga, boxing, weights and running but definitely Pilates the most. I go to the Pilates Pad here in Nobbys where I live on the Gold Coast.
What has been your favourite place to travel?
I am in love with all things tropical. Have spent the past 5 years travelling. I would say Bali, LA or Hawaii as I go back there every year. But I loved Costa Rica and Mexico too. I can never choose with this question! So much beauty everywhere.
Definitely waterfall chasing in Costa Rica, a girlfriend and I rode an ATV bike up the mountain we were flying over huge mud puddles and laughing so much. Then we got to the top and it was so beautiful in the rainforest there.
What are you dreams and plans for the future?
Short term is work in the travel industry and long term I would like to study some form of psychology/ counselling. I love helping people to heal. And would like to write a book around that.
Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
Travelling still haha.
What is your favourite meal to cook/favourite food?
Most of my meals consist of lean protein, veges and good fats. Occasionally some brown carbs are added but when I'm indulging a little I love things like dumplings or Mexican. And anything involving Nutella haha.
"Less attitude more gratitude." It's kind of a life mantra for me I just made it up myself although I don't think I'm the first to come up with it. After all it's so catchy haha. I also love "Be the change you wish to see in the world." That's Gandhi. I think it's so important that we self-reflect first before looking at anyone else.
Best piece of advice you’ve received?
I met a woman on the bus once who said to me always travel and read books. If you do you'll be the smartest version of yourself you could ever be.
Best piece of advice you’ve learned?
To accept whatever life hands you and to practice gratitude daily, and never take anything personally.
What is the perfect way to spend your weekend?
Exercising and the beach. If I had the night off going to see a band play would be the ultimate.
Favourite music to work out with?
Anything from rock music to rap. I love all kinds of music and don't need upbeat tunes to get in the zone. I'm loving listening to Black Sabbath on the treadmill and Tame Impala at the moment.
Number one beauty tip/ what beauty products would we find in your make up bag?
Look after your skin! Wear sunscreen.
I always have Lucas paw paw ointment. I use Mii Skin Couture skin care. It's amazing. And Bali Body moisturiser is another favourite too.
I have 3 I swear by and always go back and reference regularly! Haha.
